The easiest, cheapest and safest way to come from the airport is to book a taxi directly at the information center located on your right just after the immigration exit.
($5 day - $6 night)
Even though the real price on the street is $3, avoid traveling this way because you will probably end up paying more.

BY BUS:
Walk 3 minutes outside the airport straight to amazonas avenue. Then take a bus posted "JUAN LEON MERA", after a 20 to 30 minutes bus ride, you will get to the corner of "JUAN LEON MERA" AND "LIZARDO GARCIA". Walk 1 1/2 block left on Lizardo Garcia. We are located at Lizardo Garcia E7-26 between Almagro & Reina Victoria streets.

A bus from the airport costs $0.25 cents.

Coming from the bus stations
There are two bus stations in Quito

From �Carcel�n� bus station (North)
If you come by bus to the hostel, the easiest way is taking a bus (20 min.) to �Río Coca� station and then the �Ecovía� (20 min.) to �Manuela Cañizares� bus stop (the closest one to the hostel).

Or $8 by taxi from Carcelén.

From �Quitumbe Bus Station� (South)

Take the trolly (C4) $0.25 to �El Ejido� bus stop (1 hour), from there a taxi to the hostel costs $1.

Or approximately $10 by taxi from Quitumbe.

IMPORTANT
THE MINIMUN TAXI RIDE IS $1. DURING THE DAY UNTIL 8 PM THE TAXIS SHOULD USE THE TAXIMETER WHICH STARTS AT 0.35 CENTS. AT NIGHT YOU NEED TO BARGAIN THE PRICE WITH THE DRIVER.
